Frequently asked questions about industrial dust control

We answer the most common questions about regulations, extraction systems, and conference participation. All information is updated according to current standards in Argentina.

If your question is not listed here, you can write to us directly at the organization's email.

What type of dust is considered combustible under Argentine regulations?

IRAM 3570 defines combustible dust as any fine solid particle that can form an explosive atmosphere when dispersed in air. This includes metallic dusts (aluminum, magnesium), organic dusts (flour, starch, sugar), and coal or plastic dusts. A classification guide by industrial sector is provided at the conference.

How do I know if my plant needs a localized extraction system?

If visible particles are generated in your production process or if the dust concentration exceeds 25% of the lower explosive limit (LEL), it is mandatory to install a localized extraction system. Our exhibitors offer on-site diagnostics during the event.

Does the conference include certification for safety and hygiene officers?

Yes, at the end of the congress, an attendance certificate is issued valid for renewing the safety and hygiene license. The program includes modules on industrial ventilation, filter maintenance, and regulatory updates.

Can I purchase group tickets for my plant team?

Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 3 or more people from the same company. Group tickets include access to all technical talks, digital materials, and a networking space with extraction equipment manufacturers.

What ventilation requirements must I meet in a food factory?

In the food industry, in addition to controlling combustible dusts, specific hygiene standards must be met. We recommend ventilation systems with HEPA filters and corrosion-resistant materials. Practical case studies from bakeries and mills are presented at the conference.
